Sonic Pin Board
I like Sonic the Hedgehog. I like enamel pins. I like themed displays. Sonic Pin Board was the only conclusion.
My general display board was getting crowded, and I had just received a bunch of lovely matching pins from SaiyanHajime (The song ones), so I thought I'd free up part of my general display by transferring them to their own board! I banged out this board in late 2024 one evening with scraps of EVA foam, tracing Sonic's logo silhouette for the shape over it, and covering the whole thing with fleece glued taut. It only accommodates for trinkets with a pinback, like enamel pins, but that's good enough for what I wanted to use it for. Eva foam isn't the best material for a pin board as the material doesn't recover from being poked with pins over time, but since I'm keeping these pins displayed permanently like this I don't mind; it's a trade-off for making it out of leftovers at no cost!
I wanted to rest it on top of a photo shelf, so I haven't installed any hardware to hang it at this point.
