Cesar Torres' Alternate Plush
I found The Mandela Catalogue video series on Youtube in 2022 and had a lot of fun with the impending dread of shape-shifting, madness-spreading, doppleganging entities! I had, unfortunately, missed out on the Makeship campaign for the official plush of Cesar Torres' Alternate, so I set out to make my own, with a more fandom-like, cuter interpretation. The fandom really likes representing him as a little devious half-smile fella, So I wanted to capture that in a "marketable plushie" way.
This Alternate plush was made using Car2inbitz's Sitting Human Doll Pattern, with modifications for the half-face, the face embroidery, the bowtie and suit, and his hair. He's completely made out of minky!
Not a lot to say about this one, really. I wasn't trying anything wacky like usual, so he's just a nice, solid, basic plush. I think his sour little human half expression is pretty on point, though!
