Hypno Plush
Who's that Pokémon? It's Hypno! One of my favorite creatures from the whole series (though his cousin Alakazam is also very cute, yes.)
I made this big ol' Hypno in March 2022. Pokémon Company was releasing these big, cuddly plushes at the time under the Fuwa Fuwa Daki / Comfy Friends collection, and I had gotten into a little collection side project to try getting every merchandise item featuring its evolution line. They do have very few plush toys, though! (Three, in fact; two Sitting Cuties plush and a Drowzee Burger King mascot keychain) So I set out to make a big Hypno replicating the Comfy Friends style.
Hypno is made out of Cuddle Luxe Minky (a soft, long pile Shannon brand fabric), he's got beans in his butt to help him sit, and a pendulum made out of fleece and paracord with beans to help it swing! He's also the first project I ever did hand embroidery on, for his eyes. He was super fun to make and now he sits on the top shelf with all his little crochet friends a friend of mine made the crown jewel of a delightful little Drowzee and Hypno display.
